GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from the original purchase date and must be presented at the time of service.
Please call the Shay Salon concerning lost gift certificates.
All gift certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.

 

 

SERVICE GUARANTEE

We want you to be happy, feel beautiful, confident and ultimately improve the health and condition of your hair.The Shay Salon Service Guarantee is that we will do anything we are capable of doing to achieve those goals. We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.

*All services are non-refundable*
However, in the event a mistake is made by your stylist resulting in your dissatisfaction, a corrective service will be scheduled at no charge. This does not include a change of mind, but will be a correction relative to the original service scheduled. Contact must be made with the stylist within 48hours to schedule a corrective service to address any dissatisfaction. Please keep in mind, using box color or going from a darker to lighter tone may result in more than one service to achieve your desired results, this should be covered in your consultation with your stylist.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING, NO-SHOWS

We understand that sometimes schedules change, we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

Therefore, AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE IS REQUIRED when canceling or rescheduling your appointment.

 

A credit card is required to hold all appointments.
Missed appointments or appointments canceled less than 24 hours before a scheduled service,
will incur a 25% “NO SHOW” charge of the scheduled service amount.
Please note that your appointment may have to be rescheduled if you are over 10 minutes late for your appointment and a “NO SHOW” charge may be incurred. A “NO SHOW” will be automatically assessed if you have not contacted your stylist within 15 minutes of your missed appointment time and your card will be charged for 25% of the scheduled service amount.
Rare exemptions can be made at the stylists discretion.

*Exceptions will be made for unsafe weather/travel conditions, emergencies/illness and other unforeseen events. Please contact your stylist as soon as possible!

We value your time too! If your stylist has to cancel or reschedule your appointment without giving at least 24hours notice
(for any reason other than an exception as listed above) A 25% discount credit of the scheduled service amount
will be applied towards your rescheduled service appointment.
*Discount will be forfeited if client cancels or reschedules for that returning visit without giving 24 hour notice
or “No Showing” but will not incur a charge on their card.
Sometimes running behind schedule is unavoidable for your stylist, we will contact you if it is predicted to be more than 15 minutes
In these cases, no charges or discounts are applicable if rescheduling is necessary.
